The Navarra Women’s Elite Classic 2026 will hold its eighth edition on May 13, starting and finishing in Pamplona, further establishing itself as one of the most important events in the international women’s cycling calendar.

Organised by M2 Eventos, the race remains part of the UCI ProSeries category, just below the World Tour. This edition will feature 18 teams, including five UCI Women’s WorldTeams such as Movistar Team, Lidl-Trek, Liv AlUla Jayco, EF Education–Oatly and Team Picnic-PostNL, alongside the Navarre-based Laboral Kutxa Team and other leading squads.

The route will cover 133.4 kilometres with nearly 2,000 metres of elevation gain, passing through 20 towns across Navarra and featuring nine demanding climbs, including Biurrun, Artajona, Tirapu and Arlegui, with gradients of up to 21%, ensuring a top-level sporting spectacle.

The race will start at 13:35 from Avenida Sancho el Fuerte and will finish at the same location at around 17:30, in a day that will once again place Navarra at the centre of international cycling.

Institutional support and commitment to women’s sport

The race is supported by the Government of Navarra, the Navarre Institute for Sport and Physical Activity, and Pamplona City Council, as well as sponsors such as Laboral Kutxa, El Corte Inglés, Pinarello and Toyota.

All of them reinforce their commitment to equality and to promoting women’s sport, helping to increase the visibility of women’s cycling and to create role models for future generations.

Navarra, a cycling territory with international projection

Beyond the sporting aspect, the Navarra Women’s Elite Classic is consolidating itself as a platform for social, economic and tourism promotion for the region, aligned with the commitment to sport as a driver of development and with Navarra’s candidacy as European Region of Sport 2027.

The race will be broadcast live via streaming on the organisation’s official platforms, as well as on the digital channels of EITB and Navarra Televisión.
